Project Overview
Technique Roofing was hired to perform a full roof replacement for a busy automotive dealership in Southern Ohio. The existing roof, composed of stitched-together metal panels, had reached the end of its service life and no longer met updated building code requirements. Our scope of work included complete removal of the old system and the installation of a high-performance Duro-Last roofing membrane—engineered for long-term durability and compliance with current energy and insulation standards.
While delivering technical excellence was a priority, the dealership owner emphasized a different success metric: ensuring business operations could continue uninterrupted. From customer foot traffic to vehicle deliveries and service appointments, maintaining a safe and accessible site was paramount—and Technique Roofing delivered.
Scope of Work
- Complete Roof Removal
Removed the aged metal roofing system, which was stitched together and failing in multiple areas.
- Structural & Code Compliance Upgrades
- Installed flute fill over the original metal deck to level the surface.
- Added two layers of 2.2″ polyiso insulation with a vapor barrier between layers to meet updated R-value code requirements.
- Staggered insulation joints to maximize thermal performance and system stability.
- Roof System Installation
Installed a 50 mil Duro-Last membrane—custom-fabricated to fit the project and minimize rooftop seams, reducing future maintenance needs.
- Warranty Coverage
Delivered a 20-year No Dollar Limit (NDL) warranty covering both materials and labor for maximum protection.
